Church Assistant – To provide volunteer assistance for residents to attend Roman Catholic Mass church service held every second Wednesday of the month at 11:00 – 11:45 am, which enhance the spiritual lives of our residents.
Qualifications: Volunteers should: 1. Have good interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff, 2. Ability to porter residents in wheelchairs and assist walkers, 3. Be pleasant, caring, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy, 4. Follow all policies and procedures, 5. Be patient, genuine interest in elderly and be compassionate, 6. Be able to follow direction and posses good communication skills, 7. Ability to speak another language is an asset, 8. Valid TB skin test and valid police records check is required.
Adult (Ages 18+) please.
