Shelter House is looking for volunteers for Tag Days June 29th & 30th at Superstore from 10am – 6 pm.
Shifts are 2 hour in length though volunteers can do longer shifts if willing/able. Volunteers greet customers and request donations. They also provide our information brochure to customers. Snacks are provided for volunteers during their shifts. A letter can also be provided for volunteers needing hours for school etc. You will be provided with a script with examples of what to say and the volunteer coordinator will be on-call at all times if any questions or concerns arise. Ideally, volunteers work in teams of 2 so if volunteers have a friend they’d like to bring that’s great!
