Making heartfelt wishes come true…
Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the largest and the only all-Canadian wish-granting charity dedicated to working with communities across the country to provide children, between the ages 3-17, diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to realize their most heartfelt wish.
By creating unique, meaningful experiences, Children’s Wish enhances the quality of life for these courageous children and their families.
Across the country our volunteers make a difference by pitching in at special events, providing support in our offices, coordinating fundraisers, and representing Children’s Wish in the community. They work hard and learn new skills while enjoying the camaraderie of other volunteers, Children’s Wish staff and Wish families.
We are looking for leadership volunteers who are interested in helping us grow our Thunder Bay Subchapter, that will focus on local fundraising, community engagement and awareness and new partnerships!
As we grow this grassroots volunteer team, we are looking for people interested in the following roles:
Subchapter – CHAIR MEMBER volunteer position
Subchapter – FINANCIAL COORDINATOR volunteer position
Subchapter – SECRETARY volunteer position
Subchapter – VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR position
Subchapter – COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR volunteer position
These are long term (one year plus) opportunities, to help us grow our community presence!
