Description

This project was started by Mr. Jan Czernik (now deceased), a local WWII veteran who gathered Christmas wishes for those serving overseas.

This project remembers Canadian Armed Forces members during the holiday season. During the first week of November (5th – 10th) the Thunder Bay MFRC volunteers will have a display booth set up at Intercity Shopping Mall.
Citizens/residents of Thunder Bay can sign Christmas greetings to our Canadian Armed Forces members currently serving at CAF Operations around the world.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Czernik Project the following openings are available:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 7th from 12:00 noon – 2:30 pm
