Description

Hike for Hospice is an annual fundraiser put on by Hospice Northwest to raise money to help us provide our services to those in our community who are living with a life-limiting illness and grieving the loss of loved ones, and we need your help!

We need volunteers, ages 18 and above, to help us sell raffle tickets for our 50/50 draw, in which the winner could win up to $5000, as well as tickets for the grand prize of a West Jet vacation and Cat Lake Lodge and Kingfisher Resort vacation packages.

We will be at the Arthur Street Canadian Tire location on:

  • Saturday, February 23rd from 8 am – 2 pm;
  • Saturday, March 30th from 8 am – 2 pm.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a volunteer, you will be responsible for:

  1. handling money,
  2. greeting people who come to see the table and explain what Hospice Northwest is, the services we provide and the prizes that could be won with the tickets.

Volunteers who respond to this post will be placed with an experienced Hospice Northwest Volunteer to assist and answer questions.
