Client Experience Volunteers needed.
The role of the Client Experience Volunteer:
- Welcome and escort program participants past secure zones typically 30 minutes prior to the start of a program.
- Assist clients waiting in the main reception with a client survey during the first part of the program (typically an 18 question satisfaction survey for primary care clients or a brief survey during walk-in hours).
- Assist program participants past secure zones during program break times.
Length and Frequency of Job Tasks: Most programs run Monday to Thursday evenings. A shift would typically be 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the program, approximately 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There are some day and weekend programs. A schedule of programs is developed for the upcoming month.
Support Provided: 1. Designated staff contact. 2. Orientation to the NorWest Community Health Centres. 3. Accessibility training as per AODA. 4. Orientation to NorWest programs. 5. Buddy for your first assignment. 6. Ongoing support as required.
Volunteers can be: Youth (Ages 13-17) or Adult (Ages 18+)
