Thunder Bay Multicultural Association is reaching out to volunteers who may have note-taking skills.
The North Western Ontario Local Immigration Partnership is looking for some note-takers for the
11th ANNUAL IMMIGRATION FORUM that will take place on February 5th – February 6th, 2019.

Please find the list of information below on the note taker’s role/responsibilities.

NOTE-TAKER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrive 15 minutes prior to event starting time
• Typed information (please use Word Application)
• Include:
  • Date of event (Feb 5 or Feb 6)
  • Time of Note Taking
  • Name of speaker, topic, and time
  • Include brief information on each topic/speaker presentation
  • Include questions being asked from the audience and speaker answers
• Be present during the breakout session (supervisor will assign position)
• Submit the notes on Thursday, February 7^th, 2019
• Dress code: Business casual

REQUIREMENTS:

• Clear and understandable typing skills at speed
• Accurate spelling and grammar skills
• Good listener
• Summarizer
• Good IT skills
• Well organised and reliable
