What Is Operation Red Nose?
Operation Red Nose is a national program dedicated to the fight against drinking and driving. It is a free, confidential, volunteer-driver service offered to any individual who has been drinking or who simply does not feel fit to drive his/her vehicle home.
How do I volunteer for Operation Red Nose in Thunder Bay?
Volunteer opportunities are available for the following positions:
- Dispatch
- Phone Operators
- Headquarters
- Mascot
- Road Volunteers (three person team – 2 qualified drivers and one navigator)
Volunteer as an individual or as a team (club, organization, business) for any of the following nights: November 24, 25, 30 December 1, 2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30. Depending on your choice of positions, shifts can run from 8:00 pm until 3:00 am
