The OBIA Provincial Peer Support Program is coordinated by the Brain Injury Association of Thunder Bay and Area (BIATBA).
We are seeking mentors who are impacted by a brain injury to provide telephone peer support to partners who are living similar experiences. Survivors, family members and unpaid caregivers are all welcome.

Mentors will be provided with free training to provide telephone support to partners. Following the training, mentors will be matched with a partner and will call that partner weekly to provide peer support. Mentors must either have a brain injury themselves, be a family member of someone with a brain injury or must be taking care of someone with a brain injury.
Volunteers must be adults (ages 18+).
