Volunteers at St. Joseph’s Care Group are an integral and valued part of the care provided to the clients and residents we serve. Our volunteers are engaged in meaningful ways that reflect their various skills, abilities, needs and backgrounds.
Our volunteer opportunities include: Friendly Visitor, Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP volunteers must be 18 years or older), Mental Health Support, Recreation Assistant, Special Events Assistant, and Spiritual Care Assistant.

Volunteers will need to complete a St. Joseph’s Care Group application. Once the information is received by Volunteer Services, an interview time will be arranged. Two reference checks, a Police Record Check and a health assessment are required.
Individuals who speak a second language, including French, Finnish, Italian, Ojibway, Cree, Oji-Cree etc. are encouraged to apply.
