The children and youth at the Children’s Aid Society of the District of Thunder Bay can sometimes be dealing with overwhelming life circumstances, academics can sometimes be challenging and hard to
Our volunteer tutors have proven over and over again that one on one mentoring and tutoring has and does improve our children and youth’s outcomes and grades improve! We are in need of tutors to work one on one with a child.  Monthly orientation and training sessions can be done online to properly prep you for this specific position. Prospective volunteers must be at least ages 18+ and must commit to volunteering 2-3 hours per week and participate in the tutor training session.

To apply you can go to the Children’s Aid Society of the District of Thunder Bay web site at www.thunderbaycas.ca – click on volunteer button, review positions and apply online OR you can complete the “Click to Volunteer” form below and the Coordinator will be in contact.
Once the application process is approved, you will be notified of the next orientation date scheduled after that point.
