Description
Be an integral part of the Pioneer Ridge Long-Term Care Home.
Pioneer Ridge is in need of Youth Volunteers (ages 14-24 or above) to assist with our recreation programs evenings and weekends!
As a volunteer, your contribution to residents within the Long-Term Care Home is valued.
High School students are welcome for their Community Involvement hours with a minimum of 3-6 month commitment.

- Recreation Assistants
- Helping Hands Auxiliary
- 1-1 Friendly Visitor
- Bartender
- Pet Pals
- Spiritual and Church Services
- Entertainers
- Hair Salon Assistant
- Meal Time Companions
All potential volunteers meet with the Recreation & Volunteer Services Supervisor prior to placement.
Also, potential volunteers over 18 years may be required to provide a current police record check.
Orientation and on-going training are also provided.
