If you are interested in applying for a volunteer position with Chippewa Summer Camps, Kidventures, Playgrounds Program, or Adventurers Camp, please provide your details on the volunteer form below. Once registered for Teens 'n Training an email with the application and reference forms will be emailed to you. Applicants must successfully complete the teens 'n training course before a volunteer can be placed in these programs.

Teens ‘N Training

Teens 'n Training logoTeens ‘n Training (T’nT) is a dynamic course that empowers youth volunteers through training, leadership development and fun! Teens who are Grade 8 graduates entering high school up to age 17 years are eligible.

T’nT is a 7-hour session that focuses on child development, worker safety awareness and the roles and responsibilities of a volunteer. Orientation is a mandatory on-site full-day training session for volunteers assigned a placement with Chippewa Summer Camps, Kidventures and the Playgrounds Program, with the exception of the Adventurers Camp orientation held in late June. Due to limited space in these programs, a volunteer placement cannot be guaranteed. Apply early for training!

Training dates include:

Teens ‘n Training – Saturday, June 11, 2016

Orientation – July 8, 2016 for Chippewa Summer Camps, Kidventures and the Playgrounds Program (Various locations depending on program)

Orientation for Adventurers Camp at the Complex – Saturday June 25, 2016 from 11 am-1 pm

Registration is $25 and opens Feb. 22, 2016.
