WHAT IS THUNDER BAY FAMILY NETWORK?

Thunder Bay Family Network (TBFN) is dedicated and committed to nurturing the strengths, dreams and enthusiasms of individuals with disabilities and their families and caregivers.

We are a unique non-profit grassroots family driven organization that encourages, promotes and supports a community that welcomes our family members and helps them build a safe and secure future.

iCAN! Social Network

  • The iCAN! Social Network program runs one evening per week and is an opportunity for individuals with disabilities and their families to enjoy fun and inclusive activities with volunteers from the community. Activities may include karaoke, cheerleading, crafts, baking, and games. The focus of iCAN! is to create a positive and welcoming environment for individuals and families to network and have fun. Cost is $3 per visit or $10 per month. To register or for more information please email our new iCAN! Coordinator, Theresa at icancoordinator@tbfn.ca
  • iCAN! is now running each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (times may vary depending on planned activity) at Monty Parks Centre | 450 Fort William Road.
  • Plan to get together with some of the friends you made at iCAN!

Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of events and projects.
