Description
THUNDER BAY MILITARY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
Event – The Czernik Project
This project was started by Mr. Jan Czernik (now deceased), a local WWII veteran who gathered Christmas wishes for those serving overseas. This project remembers Canadian Armed Forces members during the holiday season.
During the first week of November (4th to 9th) the Thunder Bay MFRC volunteers will have a display booth set up at Intercity Mall. Citizens/residents of Thunder Bay visiting our table/booth will have the opportunity to sign Christmas greetings to our Canadian Armed Forces members currently serving at CAF Operations around the world.
If you are interested in volunteering for a shift at the booth for the Czernik Project please email the Thunder Bay MFRC at tbaymfrc@tbaytel.net or call 807-345-5116, attention Evelyn.
You may also sign up by clicking “click to volunteer” below and submitting your contact information.
