Description

October is recognized worldwide as the month of encouragement and hope for our beloved community members who battle daily with breast cancer, but most importantly it represents the time to increase awareness of the disease and to raise the funding used towards the research into its cause, prevention, treatment and cure.

At the Canadian Cancer Society in Thunder Bay, we are in desperate need to fill some volunteer positions and the various time slots for our upcoming Awareness event in October.
The goal objective is selling pink ribbon pins for this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness month by donation in the community.

PLEASE NOTE:

• All the blacked out slots are no longer available (as shown in the attached pdf file above).
• The schedule will be updated regularly as time slots get filled, but keep in mind there’s so many open spots to be filled before October arrives!
• If there is/are specific time slot(s) you prefer, do mention the dates, time slot and the location you wish to sign-up for in the comment box provided below in the volunteer sign-up form or email your preferred time and date to Emily Groulx.
• Most volunteers end up grouped in teams of two.
